"White Dots" Blackout Curtain by Michele Rondelli - Extra Wide
The “White dots” design is about light and exploring the links between color and light. The out-of-focus dots on the colored background are like projected points of light in motion on the fabric. The new blackout curtain collection from ZigZagZurich adds style and some fun to any room. Using an extra-wide luxury blackout fabric as the base cloth, we print our artist's original works on top using a special technique resulting in vibrant colors & artwork

"Spitz" Blackout Curtain by Urs August Steiner - Extra Wide
Spitz is dedicated to the Basel social hall known as "Café Spitz", which was built from 1838 to 1840 according to plans by the architect Amadeus Merian. For the Merian Hall, part of today's Brasserie Spitz, Urs August Steiner developed a room-filling installation in 2021. This involved prints on fabric produced with the help of an old photographic printing process, the cyanotype. The substrate used for this came from the last exposed original sandstone wall in the basement of the building.

"Sunny Days" Blackout Curtain by Christoffer Joergensen - Extra Wide
Look closely at More Sunny Days and it is almost as if you can get an insight into its particle structure; tens of thousands of triangles, squares, and circles in red, green, yellow, and blue populate the surface. These countless geometric elements appear like nothing more than tiny dots when seen from afar. Just as in a pointillist painting, they mingle on the macroscopic level to create a wider range of tones and textures.

"Sea Stripe" Blackout Curtain by Soojung Park - Extra Wide
These lines arrange the spaces in between them, while color animates layer upon layer of glass sheet: A new depth of visual experiences is brought in and out of focus. The field is brought about by Soojung's own emotional awareness, yet it may be perceived as poetic or romantic, joyous or serene, or even simply beautiful. She experiences and asks viewers to experience, the endless perspectives reduced by the spaces between the lines.
