tage Mid Century Japan Knee Hugger Elves 24 - 318
4 Vintage Mid Century Japan Knee Hugger Elves. These are late 1950's or early 1960's. There are three 4 1/2" tall elves and one smaller elf measuring app. 3 3/4" tall. The felt has faded out from age, especially the green felt. They show slight age dirt on their felt clothes. Nothing terrible. Just needed mentioned. The larger red elf, with his hat tip facing forward, still has his original label. It reads " Jestia - Made In Japan - No. 355." The larger green elf has a white spot on his back which is the remains of his original tag. Right below the tag he has a small hole in his felt. The smaller elf has his originally Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania Stuffed Toys Registration Number label attached. It says the toy was made in Tokyo Japan. Please see my photographs for condition.
