Vintage Cornflower Medal, French Quotation Jeton, Gilt Bronze

Vintage French Cornflowers Gilded Bronze Medal Jeton (not a pendant) this was commissioned by Monnaie de Paris (the Paris Mint), they produced this Jeton around the 1970's. The French proverb to the front reads "les bleuets parleront pour la timidité" a literal translation to English is "Cornflowers will speak for shyness".
