Teacher and Firefighter Wedding Cake Topper with Bronze Finish, Handmade Wedding Keepsake, Engraved Under nest with Names and Wedding Date

This topper was made for the wedding of a teacher and a firefighter. It is handmade with stoneware clay and fired in the kiln to a very high temperature. After the firing I use metallic washes to imitate the look of antique bronze. The base coat is bronze, with turquoise in the recesses and a bright shiny copper added to the high points. This love bird sculpture will add a very romantic touch to your wedding cake or cupcake tower. After the celebration these elegant birds can become a part of your home decor and will be a daily reminder of your special day. Engraving of your names and wedding date on the underside of the nest is included in the price. Just leave your details when you order and I'll have your love birds in the mail in three weeks. This love bird ornament measures 5 inches in width x 4 inches in height. The attached nest is 3.50 inches in diameter. This topper looks like a bronze sculpture but it is very light in weight because I hollow the birds when I make them. The top tier of the cake used in the first photo measures 6 inches.
