Print fabric depicting mostly defunct airlines like Sabena, Eastern Airlines, Swissair, Air France, BOAC, TWA and others still in existence like United, Alitalia and American. It is adjustable too! From large as seen in photos too smaller. (please see photos of fasteners in front toward the bottom. The bag can be made smaller, depending on your needs. Very cool feature! Measures about 14 inches tall without handle, 20 inches tall with handle ... 6.5 inches wide and 12 to 14 inches across front. There is a large zippered compartment in front and one inside. Strap and handle are black leather and the satchel closes with two metal (brass?) fasteners in front. CONDITION: Very good for a satchel that is approximately 60 years old. Lined in soft faux suede like fabric. Zippers and fasteners work perfectly. The black leather handle does show some signs of wear, see photos. At bottom ends, there is wear to the fabric where it may have been placed on the ground, Outer overall very clean, no stains. Inside lining shows some wear and tear, some soiling at top, inside pretty clean. So, though there is some wear on close inspection, this bag is very useable and has many many years left of use.
