Apples from the Tree

Between the high temps recently and the big storm this week, a ton of our apples fell off the tree prematurely. Between that and some pests, I'll be honest - they ain't beautiful. But - it is SO SATISFYING to walk out into the yard and carry back this many apples, imperfect or not! I'll cut out the bad spots and turn them into applesauce so they don't go to waste.
