"Mid- 19th C Hair Memento with Cut Hearts - Dated 1859 This is a lovely remembrance of the wedding day of John A Moore and N. E. Armstrong. Locks of hair were taken from the bride and groom, looped and woven, and attached to the page with a scalloped cut heart. As you can see, each of their names are penned below with the inscription \"Mariade (sic), Nov. 23, 1859\" It appears the page was then glued to a heavier weight paper backing page of the kind seen in scrap books.
