How do I make my jewelry? All the items in my boutique I designed and made by hand in my studio in Biedrusko, Poland. My jewelry is a combination of the highest quality synthetic resin and 925 sterling silver. In the resin are embedded natural plants, rarely shells, pebbles, feathers. Every item that I offer you goes a long way, and its beginning is my vision and design. In my head are ideas inspired primarily by the beauty of the natural world. The greatest potential for my projects is seen in the natural beauty of plants. As a naturalist I have a deep knowledge of them, as a creator I can enchant them in unique objects with soul. Stage I. VISION AND PROJECT Sometimes it is put on a sheet, but more often it is sketched only in my head. Then I give it a materialized shape. Stage II. CHOOSE THE PLANTS Here the ability to recognize species, their places of occurrence and the phenology of their development is useful. Most plants present in my jewelry are wild plants in nature. Many of them are located in the immediate vicinity of the studio, after some I go for a longer walk or go on a trip to a distant place, some I draw from the garden, and others I buy in the florist. Stage III. PREPARATION OF PLANTS FOR PRESERVATION IN RESINS OR FOR STORAGE Each species of plant requires different conditions and different treatment. From this stage depends on the color stability of the plants after sinking in the resin. With botanical knowledge and experience acquired at work, I can capture the natural beauty of plants that look like jewelery as living. Stage IV. CROP PLANTS IN RESIN This step beyond the right kind of resin requires manual skills, determination and patience. I developed myself and mastered the technology of embedding. As a result, the plants are masterfully placed in a crystal clear resin, preserving their natural color and spatial shape. The details of this stage are my carefully guarded secret of production. Stage V. LIGHTING After sowing the plant, the resin requires adequate time to mature in order to achieve the desired properties. The duration of the different types of resins varies from 2 hours to 72 hours and even 3 months. Stage VI. TREATMENT The resin after lighting requires machining to give it the right shape and gloss. Each item is subject to manual treatment. The result is resin balls or molds of another shape permanently polished to a high gloss, which effectively reflect the light. The details of this process are my secret of production. Stage VII. BINDING IN STERLING SILVER This is the last stage of my jewelry production. Each piece is made from the finest quality 925 sterling silver (rare metal) and turns into a unique jewelery. So are pendants, pendants, necklaces, earrings, cufflinks, brooches. Each of these items has a long history and is unique because in nature there are no two flowers, shells or pebbles. Hand-crafted with utmost care, care and passion makes my jewelery emanate the positive energy that accompanies me during its creation. I believe this energy is reaching you - customers :-)
