The Origin is a dark, sci-fi web novel set in a dystopian world dominated by shape-shifting, sentient creatures known as Phantasms. These monstrous beings, born from an ancient virus unleashed from the depths of the Arctic, threaten humanity’s very existence. Civilization is pushed to the brink, forcing humanity to take refuge in a colossal fortress known as The Arc, a city-state in Neo-Tokyo protected by VAULT, an elite corps dedicated to eradicating Phantasms.
