HELVETICA OFFICE REFURBISHMENT
For company Helvetica Property Management we were commissioned to build new offices on Brandschenkenstrasse in Zurich. As a native Norwegian, the company founder grew up surrounded by Scandinavian design and it was essential to couple a Nordic design language with Swiss details.

BRANDERS HEADQUARTERS ZURICH
The Haus zum Löwensteig is located in the heart of Zurich, directly behind the National Bank. Built in 1885, the building is considered a pioneer for concrete buildings in Zurich. In close cooperation with the institute for building preservation, MACH developed a new circulation concept for the office renovation. Exactly where the original staircase was located, a breakthrough was made to connect the two office floors and achieve a dynamic exchange between the employees.

TOTO HEADQUARTERS
TOTO liked the design language we created so much, the brand asked us to create the interiors concept for its new European HQ in Düsseldorf. Our idea was ‘Japan comes to Europe’. For example, traditional European oak was used to construct a simple but sophisticated reception desk that was surrounded by pristine white Corian® surfaces in keeping with the Japanese brand’s ‘Clean Technology’ ethos.

CITY OF ZURICH MAIN THEATER LOBBY
Creating a new foyer for a famous theatre called for a mix of modernity and theatricality. Evoking the tricks often used on the theatre’s 19th century stage, our design played with perspectives to dramatic effect.
