It happens to the kids too! Part of the benefit of homeschooling is that As my children’s educator and nurturer I can read cues and under when they need a break. We love a giant colouring page to bond with. I usually colour with them and the kids love talking about how the page unfolds slowly as the colours fill up the blankness. It’s a therapeutic experience and a wonderful way to bond!"

But as we showcase such abilities we are feeding the idea to other gender that we are capable of so much that we don’t deserve a break or rest. So many times I have heard from my friends or women that their spouses don’t value their reason to REST during period or pregnancy etc because they were not used to seeing their own mothers or grand mothers resting. Their grand mothers and mothers were always cooking, serving others and barely sleeping. This is generational trauma and this cycle has harmed us for so long. The generational trauma we carry comes from witnessing our grandmothers, mothers, and aunts refuse to rest, raised in a society where women had to constantly prove their
