Ettie Kim on Instagram: "One thing that surprised me this year was the number of customers who didn’t mind and actually loved that we reuse shipping boxes. We have always reused packing material wherever possible, but as a business built on aesthetics (my friends often like to introduce me as the friend that makes things pretty for a living), I was worried about undermining the customer experience by reusing shipping boxes. Even if what’s on the inside is beautifully and thoughtfully packaged, the shipping box is a first impression. 2023 completely dispelled my concerns. I was pleasantly surprised to hear from so many customers saying they appreciated that we reuse boxes. Whenever we do, we make sure to place a sticker on the box to let them know.
