Inspired by an art collaboration I'm taking part in this month, I wanted to give a large sense of scale of the sacrificial cleric standing against the awakening mouth of the dark god he had summoned.
In the year 2432, Bard stood at the edge of the Mariana Chasm on planet Thalassa, a geological wonder deeper than any on Earth. It was a cybernetic abyss, where ancient machines from a long-forgotten civilization hummed with enigmatic energy. Bard, a renowned techno-archaeologist, was on the verge of his greatest discovery.
