Introducing the Murchison Meteorite, one of the most scientifically studied meteorites that fell in Australia in 1969. It is a rare type of carbonaceous chondrite that is filled with rich, organic compounds. Silicone carbide particles (stardust) inside the meteorite were dated to be around 7 billion years old by measuring the amount of cosmic ray exposure within the particles.

Not only is the age interesting, but the meteorite also contained over 70 amino acids which are the building blocks of proteins necessary for life. It shows that complex organic molecules are not unique to earth and may have been delivered to earth via a meteorite long, long ago.

Choosing a silicon carbide wafer reclaimer is an important step in your semiconductor manufacturing process. This process removes surface layers from silicon carbide wafers to produce the desired final product. This process is different from gettering and blasting. In gettering, silicon carbide wafers are treated with a liquid slurry to remove the surface layers, and then the liquid is washed away.
