A set of two hammered gold rings great for couples as unique wedding bands. I start by making two plain bands from 9 carat yellow gold and then hammer them to create and irregular shape and rustic texture. I use a flat shaped hammer which strikes the metal at slightly different angles and creates subtle facets, the result looks like natural stone or a maybe a rugged landscape. The texture will also have a few notches and indents and a subtle ridged look transferred from the hammer surface…

This simple ring has a round profile and is available either hammered or smooth. Heavier than my skinny stacking rings, this ring is a lovely elegant weight on it's own, or can be stacked. I use a very small round ended hammer to create this delicate texture. The effect gives more of a sparkle to the surface, than an obvious hammered pattern.
