Meredith Dale trading as Meredith Woolnough on Instagram: "The first letter in the series is done … and I love it. ❤️📝

This stitched letter titled, ‘Dear Future Self’ was created using a freehand machine embroidery technique on a water soluble base fabric. I basically sat down at my sewing machine, drew up some blue and red ‘notepad paper’ lines then switched over to black thread and wrote myself a letter. When I washed the base fabric away the words became distorted and unreadable. So now it feels like secret or asemic writing.

I plan to write more letters in the coming weeks.
Who else should I write to?
