Card-io Majestix "Round Tree" Winter Hare Scene

With the high wind and rain lashing against the windows, my crafting has sent me into a Winter direction, creating this card. I used the Card-io Majestix "Round Tree" stencil with Distress Oxide Inks. I then created the image within the stencilled tree. I used four stamp sets by Card-io Majestix: Peaceful Panorama, Field Day, Wildflower Woods and Mini Tall Trees, stamped in various shades of Versafine Clair Inks. I added splatters of white Posca Pen to create the look of snow falling.

Creating a Card-io Christmas Wreath

Hello crafty peeps! My last post for this month using some of the fab Card-io Combinations stamps. I have found the more I play, the more of the other sets I have purchased, so that I can vary my cards and create different little scenes all the time! (fatal for the bank balance, but then at least these images allow you to create endless amounts of different card combinations!) A bit of an adventure and my favourite 5 Christmas cards

Well, Boxing Day didn't finish the way we expected it to! It is the day we host family and cook our proper Christmas Dinner. We had a lovely day and were just enjoying our tea when Steve decided to check on the weather, only to discover that it was starting to snow. We quickly got both Dads organised and then set off to take them home. Hi all I was watching a Lavinia tutorial by Tracey Dutton and she inspired this project though mine did not go to plan lol. I finished the scene, peeled the sticker stencil off smudged a load of ink over the card. Tried removing and made it worse. Was going to bin it then had a lightbulb moment. I cut the scene out. Took a piece of card as a panel, die cut a square to make an aperture, placed the scene behind, used double sided foam tape to raise the panel. Finished off the front by stamping…
