Settle in. This is one of those long posts! Cadent is of one of Zentangle's 'official' tangles. It's simple, elegant and easy when you know the steps. It was designed by Maria Thomas and you can see her steps here, as well as some possible variations. Being basically a simple pattern, it lends itself to massive possibilities!
