Untitled. In the winter of 1985 I was coat checking at Barbetta's on Restaurant Row on West 46th Street. Lots of celebrities would come in especially after the theatre with all their entourages. I met a lot of cool people that winter. One night a handsome, young black man with hair going in all directions, came in with 6 or 8 people, all of whom left coats with me.
