Back from the Kgalagadi, and were lucky enough to spot this one early one morning quite close to the road.

Another image of the only sigting of an African Wild Cat (Felis lybica, Vaalboskat) we had during our recent trip to the Kgalagadi. I cropped it somewhat unconventionally in order to include a bit of the leg markings. Interestingly enough, my flickr image with the most views ever is that of an African Wild Cat.
