Party ants- (for 1 ant) 3 styrofoam balls, 2 toothpicks, 2 pipe cleaners (cut in 4ths), acrylic paint, 2 googley eyes, and yarn for mouth. Paint the balls, allow to dry, stick them together with toothpicks, insert pipecleaners into sides, stick on google eyes and yarn- and done! (tip: don't use spray paint, it melts them!)
SOCK SNAILS Cut off one leg of a pair of tights and stuff with cotton wool. Tie end and curl into a 'shell' shape. Stitch at intervals to hold. Fill a sock with sand and tie end. Cut the end (after knot) in half, roll each half and stitch to form antennae. Sew shell onto body. Super glue on googley eyes (or sew button eyes).
