My intentions when hand carving each one of a kind ring from this collection was bringing together the movement and flow of water with the truth and love from the heart. A sort of reminder that flow and change is inevitable, but we can follow our heart and find calmness within the shifting tides. Green sapphire has a calm energy and represents the heart chakra which felt like the right stone for the swirling, textured gold settings.

I love the thought of holding your wishes and intentions throughout the design process to create something completely and authentically “yours”. One of my favourite beaches is located on a little island in the Salish Sea. Going there on a summer night, the moon and star reflections on the ocean mix with the light of phosphorescence (ocean fairy dust as my daughter calls it) and it feels like magic. I think any of us lucky enough to create ocean-side memories, no matter where in the world have watched lights dance on the surface and felt awe... this ring is inspired by those memories.
