Piped Chocolate Butter Cookies
These chocolate butter cookies are the cocoa-kissed version of my classic homemade butter cookies. They're every bit as soft and buttery, and absolutely melt in your mouth. Use a large piping tip to pipe the dough into swirly designs. They're delicious and beautiful plain, but feel free to jazz them up with sprinkles, a dip in melted chocolate, or a cherry in the center. Recipe on sallysbakingaddiction.com

I made mine gluten, dairy, egg, and refined sugar-free because I have food sensitivities 🤗 Save and follow for more fun, healthier holiday recipes ❤️ Ingredients: • Brownie mix of choice(or you can make it from scratch) • Sliced almonds • 9 oz chocolate chips • 1 tsp coconut oil • Powdered sugar or powdered monk fruit Directions: 1) Make your brownie mix accordingly to the instructions. Bake your brownie mix and then let it cool down completely. 2) Take the baked brownie mixture and form into about 12 cone shapes. 3) Place the almond slices in and around the brownie cones(carefully because they are fragile), making the pine cone look full with "scales." 4) Place the pine cones on a parchment paper lined sheet pan, and stick in the freezer for 30 minutes. 5) Melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil by heating in a bowl in the microwave in 30-second increments.(Or use a double boiler). 6) Take the pine cones out of the freezer and carefully coat each one with the melted chocolate. Place the pine cone brownies back on the parchment paper to set. 7) Sprinkle some powdered sugar on top for a frosted look and enjoy! #brownierecipe #pineconebrownie #holidaybrownies #chocolatecoveredbrownies #glutenfreebrownies #veganbrownies #refinedsugarfreedessert #christmasdessert | Colorful Superfoodie | New York Jazz Trio · A Holly Jolly Christmas
