Born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Madhvi Srivastava is a budding artist with a keen eye for the beauty often overlooked in discarded objects. She honed her artistic skills through a bachelor’s degree in painting from the College of Arts and Crafts, Lucknow, followed by a master’s degree in printmaking from the Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda. Srivastava’s art delves into the latent forces within deteriorated natural forms, inviting viewers to contemplate the profound relationship between nature and existence and to discover the unexpected beauty that resides in decay.

Yibei Liu (b. 1998) is a figurative sculptor whose work delves deep into the complexities of the human experience. With a profound interest in human behavior and emotion, Liu’s sculptures are an exploration of the inner worlds we all navigate—our struggles, desires, vulnerabilities, and resilience. Drawing from personal introspection as well as broader social concerns, Liu seeks to bring visibility to the often invisible aspects of mental and emotional health. Through her work, Liu invites viewers into a dialogue about mental illness, creating space for reflection, understanding, and connection.
Invisible Cities by Ivania Lasso
Visual artist based in San José, Costa Rica Ivania Lasso (Costa Rica, 1984) explores the deterioration of the city of San José, Costa Rica, where she studies urban textures, as evidence of the passage of time and imprint of memory. Her work includes various formats such as painting, assembly and installation. Graduated in Arts and Visual Communication with the specialty of Painting from the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica, and later as a Bachelor of Education from the Universidad San Marcos of Costa Rica. She has been invited to exhibit by feminist collectives such as Casa Ma (CR) and in Portugal by the curator Rolando Castellón, as well as exhibitions in New York, El Salvador and Costa Rica.

María Camila Cepeda (b. 1996) is a Colombian artist based in the UK. After a traditional education in painting and drawing in Bogotá, she moved to the UK to study a BA in Fine Art Sculpture in Leeds Arts University and an MA in Fine Art Media at the Slade School of Fine Art. With a keen interest on the way fiction portrays culture, Maria’s latest interest lies on animals and bestiaries, the way we have related and portrayed them, and what that also says about ourselves. In portraying her own animals, creatures and scenes she looks at merging representation and fictions from the Americas and Europe to create a cohesion of her lived experience in a globalised world.

A 2024 graduate of SCAD Savannah with a BFA in Fibers, Loyer’s work is driven by a profound passion for textiles and a deep exploration of material manipulation. Drawing from both her academic research and personal journey of spiritual discovery, she creates ethereal art that resonates with introspection and the infinite potential of materials. Combining elements of light, movement, and color, her installations and sculptures invite viewers to embark on a shared exploration of the self, fostering a sense of wonder and encouraging contemplation on the boundless energies shaping our material existence.

Esteban Fernández (b. 1981) is a Costa Rican painter, photographer and graphic designer who uses abstract language without accurately describing reality. He gives his own visual form of the tropics, its climate, the flora and fauna of his environment. He displays natural blends of organic and geometric forms using acrylics, watercolors, inks, as well as resins and carriage paint. Esteban has exhibited his work in the United States, Mexico, Guatemala and Costa Rica.

Justine Watt is a sculptor based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, specializing in installation/sculpture, contemporary craft, and sustainable design. A 2024 Sculpture BA Hons graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, Watt’s practice centers on transforming mundane, domestic artifacts of daily existence, exploring the relationship between the corporeal and the crafted. The modularity inherent in her sculptures facilitates assembly and imbues her work with a cyclical narrative, inviting continuous reinterpretation.
Sunbeam by Rio Skor
Rio Skor received her first formal art education at art school. She graduated as an architect in 2006 before reconnecting with sculpting and pursuing it as her primary focus. In 2023, she refined her skills in Carrara, Italy, studying hand-carving and expanding her practice to include marble. Rio currently lives and works in Montreal.

Progress Nyandoro (b. 1997 in Masvingo) specialises in multimedia art that uses paints and textures to explore society and social life in Zimbabwe. She studied at David Livingstone primary schcool and atteneded high school at Golden Results Academy. Progress is currently studying at the school of visual arts and design and she now specialises in photography and painting.
