The is probably the best preserved garment amongst the finds from the late 14th century Herjolfsnes. It likely belonged to a woman about 30-40 of age, 150 cm tall. Triangular gores were inserted into the front and back pieces. The sidegores were made from 1 piece of fabric that has been extended down to the armpit with additional pieces, and divided in the middle by a false seam. Short sleeves had one inserted gore on the base in the back.
