Travel Photo Image Transfer (March Printing Challenge Idea #23)

Create a monoprint about a place you love. For the gel printing prompt SPECIAL PLACE, Gelli Arts® artist Jessica Russo Scherr focused on a photo she took at the Night Market in Phu Quoc during a family trip to Vietnam. Jessica uses the gel printing plate to transfer a high-contrast laser print of her photo. She lets the print dry on the plate before adding all of her signature handpainted details. After everything has fully dried, she add a last layer of acrylic paint and places her paper on top.
