Hand knit Dragon Scale Scalemail Pauldron Collar and Shoulder Armor. Created using polycarbonate scales* and acrylic yarn, this piece is lightweight, easy to care for and durable. I hand knit each scale into a dramatically shaped full collar with wing-like shoulder pieces or Pauldron/Mantle. The collar ties at the neck with soft leather cording, and there is a coilless safety pin on the underside of each shoulder piece to secure it. For reference , the mannequin in the photos has a 17" cross back measurement, which is about an adult M. The scales on this piece are a mix of matte, glossy and metallic black with bronze and gold accents. The yarn is dark chocolate brown.
